Abstract

Over the past 20 years there has been growing evidence of a link between psychiatric disorders and cardiovascular disease [1,2]. This link has been shown in multiple studies linking psychiatric disorders such as depression with an increase in mortality from Ischaemic Heart Disease (IHD) [2–5].
