Abstract
This paper describes methods for acquisition of useful knowledge from optimization results of electromagnetic systems. Optimization of those systems on the basis of field computation often yields many quasi-optimal solutions which satisfy given criterion. In this study, such solutions are classified into clusters using the hierarchic method, principal component analysis and self-organizing map to extract useful knowledge for designers about them.
