Abstract
By studying oral tokens of different uses of the aller + infinitive periphrasis described in Bres & Labeau (2012a), this article illustrates the positive contribution of oral corpora –and particularly of the new Corpus de français parlé à Bruxelles– to the collection of authentic token of understudied linguistic phenomena, to the testing of their theoretical descriptions as well as the enrichment of those descriptions.
