Abstract

Phase diagrams (liquid-liquid equilibrium) obtained by Solubility measurements at 298 K have shown very interesting and rare behaviour for the ternary systems 1-(2-hydroxyethyl)3-methylimidozolium based ionic liquids ([EtOHmim][X], [X] [PF6](-) or [BF4](-) or [CF3SO3](-) or [(CF3SO2)(2)N](-)) + dichloromethane + 2-propanol. Strong co-solvent effects have been found.
