Abstract
Managerial coaching (MC) is an established leadership development intervention and, increasingly it is becoming a popular part of the multiple MSc and MBA courses. In this chapter we suggest innovating and deepening the MC pedagogy in Higher Education by including an ethical readiness learning approach. We argue that it is needed to tackle the ethical ambiguity that the students often experience while engaging with the contemporary MC learning material and approaches. The chapter introduces MC, shares advantages and challenges of this approach, and suggests a MC ethical readiness learning approach. We conclude the chapter by offering reflections about benefits and limitations of the proposed approach and discuss areas of further research and reflection.
