Abstract

Given the wide variety of issues that partnerships are confronted with and seek to
address, a renewed focus on creating strong ties among the designers, shapers and stakeholders of partnerships is advocated for to ensure better adherence to collectively developed procedural rules. Building social capital within partnerships may yield better results and counteract the waning hopes and excitement around the potential of partnerships
