Noise-Like Pulses in an Erbium-Doped Fiber Laser Based on 45° Tilted Fiber Grating

Abstract

We report on the generation of noise-like pulses from a passively mode-locked erbium-doped fiber laser based on 45° titled fiber grating for the first time. The 3-dB spectral bandwidth of the noise-like pulses is about 21 nm.
