Octave Spanning Optical Frequency Comb Fiber Laser

Abstract

We present an octave-spanning OFC using a homemade mode-locked fiber laser and high nonlinear fiber. Our results demonstrate the generation of flat and high-power comb spectra covering 1000-2200 nm, with a conversion efficiency of 46%.
