Abstract
An optical fiber delay line filter has been constructed by using a hi-bi fiber. The notch frequency and free spectral range of the filter depend only on the optical path difference and not limited by the optical coherence of the source. The experimental results have demonstrated that the device represents a simple and effective means of carrying out microwave signal processing.
