Performance characterization of broadband discrete Raman amplifier with high capacity transmission formats

Abstract

The performance of a 75km long SMF transmission link compensated with >75nm broadband discrete Raman amplifier is experimentally evaluated with the use of 69.4Gbaud higher order DP-QAM data transmitted over a 88x100GHz WDM grid.
