Abstract

Performance improvement of up to 1.2 dB in Q2-factor is experimentally demonstrated in single-carrier dual-polarization 2×28-Gbaud 16QAM 6×100 km EDFA-amplified transmission with digital post-equalization enhanced with an artificial neural network.
