Abstract

We report two compact diode-pumped mode-locked femtosecond thulium-doped silicafiber- based MOPAs, operating in the Raman soliton regime with the spectral tunability between 1.98-2.22 μm, including a 75-nJ, 21-MHz fiber laser and a 10-nJ, 83-MHz fiber laser.
