Abstract

This chapter introduces the product end-of-life (EoL) scenarios for automotive components, with particular interest in remanufacture. Whole-life cost is discussed in relation to the product EoL of automotive components. Cost-benefit analyses for assessing the EoL options are introduced, and some potentially better EoL options for specified situations are discussed.
