Robust polarization-insensitive C and L band FOPA with >17dB gain for both WDM and bursty traffic

Research output: Chapter in Book/Published conference outputConference publication

Abstract

We demonstrate, for the first time, a real-time stabilized polarization-insensitive fiber optic parametric amplifier to simultaneously amplify WDM CandL band traffic in an extended-reach PON scenario with gain >17dB and output power >23 dBm.
