Abstract

Current research supports the use of dialectical behavioural therapy with clients who have borderline personality disorder (e.g. Verheul et al., 2003). This service evaluation assesses the impact of DBT on clients' psychological well-being and associated se4f-harming behaviour, and estimates the ensuing effect on NHS resources.
