Abstract

Our Invention “Solving seasonal velocities simulation problems using evolutionary computing techniques for tidal turbine blade” is a method or closed loop system for solving seasonal tidal current velocity problems to obtain optimal power efficiency throughout the year is provided for tidal turbine blades. The method may include receiving geometric, engineering and analysis rules associated with tidal turbine model. The method may also include configuration of tidal turbine blade design systems, and production of automated design engineering solutions, through the common computational modelling. The method may then include dynamic design engineering automation from conceptual to detail design, analysis and optimisation of any tidal turbine blade. The method may further include reduction of human interaction or dependency during the geometric modelling, and simulations of seasonal velocities of tidal turbine blades. The method may further include optimisation of the tidal turbine blade to produce higher power efficiency throughout the year for any chosen Tidal site location, where in the method comprises of a genetic algorithm. The method may also include a design, analysis, and optimisation interface to produce effective multi-disciplinary visualisation from the simulation and optimisation data.
