Abstract
Ways and characteristics of regional cooperation among small and medium-sized enterprises were analyzed. Based on the two typical ways of enterprise cooperation, central satellite structure and enterprise cluster, strategies and methodologies of three typical virtual organizations were proposed. The applicability and implementation strategies of these three typical virtual organizations, vertical integrated virtual organization, horizontal integrated virtual organization and mixed structure virtual organization, were discussed with some scenarios presented.
