Abstract

A compact, wavelength-switchable, singlemode DBR fibre laser configuration is demonstrated. Stable, high spectral purity single-line or wavelength-switching operations are achieved by controlling the cavities' resonance mode conditions through a simple strain mechanism, without pump power limitations.
