Yellow frequency-doubled Bismuth fibre laser

Abstract

Bismuth fibre laser operating at 1160 nm was frequency doubled to produce 580 nm radiation for the first time. Frequency doubling was accomplished for pulsed and CW generation using KTP crystal at room temperature.
