Biography

I joined Aston Business School in September 2011, having spent the previous two years as Visiting Lecturer at the University of Cyprus. Prior to that, I was for two and a half years Research Fellow at the Leverhulme Centre for Research on Globalisation and Economic Policy (GEP), University of Nottingham. I am also a fellow of the Lloyds Banking Group Centre for Business Prosperity (LBP) at Aston Business School.

Research Interests

I conduct applied research on topics related to International Economics with overlaps to Political Economy and Environmental Economics. I have recently published a journal article on the determinants of reshoring  for OECD MNEs and also on the political and economic uncertainty that Brexit generated and its effect on Spanish elections. I currently work on several projects related to Brexit, the greek economic crisis and US trade content of polution.
