Biography

I am interested in how the brain pieces together and processes relevant information whilst ignoring distraction.  I aim to use neuroimaging (MEG, EEG and fMRI) to study the brain's activity during attention -demanding tasks, including with visual or audio-visual sensory information.  I also aim to understand how neural mechanisms are altered in cases of disorders of attention and/or perception, such as in ADHD or autism, as well as how these processes are different across the life-span.
