General

Governance, policy making, implementation and evaluation, local service delivery networks, public values and new understandings of policy. My current empirical focus is on policies and public services directed towards the ageing population. I am particularly interested in the participation of older people (particularly the older old) in service design and commissioning decisions as well as their democratic participation. Theoretically, I am currently drawing on post-structuralism, actor network theory and ontological politics and the contribution they can make to make to our understanding of governance and public policy.
