Soum is a Lecturer in Information and Communication Technology within the Operations and Information Management department and is the Course Director of the undergraduate programme BSc Business Computing and Information Technology (BCIT). After completing his MSc and PhD in Computing Science at the University of Glasgow, he held postdoctoral appointment for the project Integrated Multimedia City Data at the ESRC Urban Big Data Center. Prior to joining Aston in 2017, Soum was working in Singapore as a Lecturer of InfoComm Technology.
