Abstract

We demonstrate an all-fibre erbium doped fibre laser mode-locked by using an intracavity 45°-Tilted Fibre Grating as a polarization element. The laser produces soliton-like pulses with ~600fs pulse duration and ~1nJ output energy at a repetition rate of 10.34MHz.
