Research output: Chapter in Book/Published conference outputConference publication

Abstract

The main purpose of this paper is to discuss sustainability directions for global automotive supply chains from an operations management perspective. The theoretical foundations of the paper are based upon three major areas: global supply chain management, sustainable development and economic globalisation. Our literature review on these topics shows the increased complexity of managing global supply chains, including the environmental issues. Based upon primary and secondary data collected from case study research, we have highlighted directions that will help companies in greening their global supply chains as well as contributing to the existing literature
