Frequency combs in nonlinear SNAP fiber resonators

Abstract

We suggest Surface Nanoscale Axial Photonic fiber resonators for frequency comb generation, and show that precise control of the fiber radius can facilitate combs with ultrafine spacing beyond the fundamental limit of conventional ring resonators.
