High-step-up flyback-forward asymmetrical DC-DC converter for photovoltaic power system with active clamping circuit

Abstract

This paper proposes an asymmetrical high-step-up DC-DC power converter for photovoltaic (PV) power system applications. The proposed topology presents a combination of soft switching technique and high-step-up features, and can be used to boost the low PV output voltage to an adjustable high voltage with high efficiency. The proposed topology has been validated by PSIM simulation and experiments.
