Abstract

We propose a new generic design concept for a reconfigurable base station with up-and-down converting the frequency of radio signals inside UHF-to-W band. The performed proof-of-concept experiment in up-converting mode up to 42 GHz confirmed the efficiency and validity of the proposed approach and its strong potential.
