Description
This presentation will overview an approach taken to incorporating the use of AI in a second year management accounting module. The assessment was designed to develop an awareness of the capabilities, benefits, and challenges associated with utilising generative AI technology to enhance management accounting decisions.
The outcome of this assessment will be a clear understanding of how generative AI can support the role of the management accountant, and the development of a refined and adapted business recommendation. In short, we want students to understand how to use AI, empower them to do so and reduce the stigma and negative feelings that surround its use in Higher Education.
