Four seminars were organised with the assistance of the All India Trade Union Congress and funded by the British Academy - Leverhulme trust grant in Maharashtra, India. A total of 280 participants attended the seminars. The participants represented all major political parties in India and trade union federations, academia, government officials and employers from public and private sectors.
