Anastasia is a Research Fellow at the Enterprise Research Centre (ERC). ERC is the UK’s leading centre of excellence for research into the growth, innovation and productivity of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) based at Aston and Warwick Business Schools.

She completed her PhD in Economics at the University of Nice - Sophia Antipolis (France) where she also held a postdoctoral appointment as a principal researcher on the European Investment Bank-funded project. Anastasia joined ERC and Aston Business School in December 2018.

Research Interests

Anastasia’s current research interests lie in the intersection of economics, finance and entrepreneurship. She is particularly interested in financial constraints, growth and performances of SMEs and in the evaluation of business support policies.

Due to her diverse educational background, she is also interested in the development economics, comparative macroeconomics, infrastructure investment and efficiency and productivity analysis.
