Teaching specialisms include financial reporting, business tax, tax policy and personal tax. An experienced teacher with a career in multiple education sectors, including both professional/executive training and within Higher Education at undergraduate, post graduate and MBA level.

Bobbie joined Aston Business School as a Teaching Fellow in January 2018, from her previous post as a Senior Teaching Fellow at Birmingham City University. She is currently Final Year Lead for the BSc Accounting and Finance programme. She is a qualified Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) with a career in practice prior to moving into education in 2005.

Bobbie is an experienced and passionate teacher, holding roles in both professional training and Higher Education. During her time in professional training, she was content specialist for Kaplan Publishing (five years) and was responsible for the creation and development of ACCA Financial Reporting learning materials including textbooks sold in international markets.

Bobbie is an External Examiner for Financial Accounting and External Quality Assurer for Financial Reporting for one of the professional accountancy bodies. 

Bobbie works with small and medium local accountancy firms to bring their insight into learning materials and syllabus development and to support learning with guest lectures.
