Biography
Arezoo Vejdanparast is a Teaching Fellow at the Aston Professional Engineering Centre Department. She is also a member of the Artificial Life and Intelligent Collectives Engineering research lab.
Arezoo received her PhD in Computer Science in 2020 from Aston University, UK. Her PhD explored the impact of simplified abstract modelling on the ability of simulators to capture real-world behaviours.
Her research interests primarily focus on applying data mining techniques including predictive modelling to support decision-making processes in real-world applications, and exploring self-organising behaviours of autonomous computing systems in collective environments. Her teaching focuses on Data Mining, Data structures and Algorithms, and Computational Intelligence modules.
