    Biography

    Dr Flavia Rodricks is a lecturer in Auditing, Careers in Accounting and Financial Reporting and Assurance at Aston Business School, Aston University from January 2024. She has 12 years of experience in teaching in the accounting field in Hong Kong prior to her move to the UK. Her expertise are in teaching Auditing, Cost and Management Accounting, Ethics and Governance, Global Strategies and Leadership and International Business. Prior to her academic career, she worked with Deloitte as an auditor (Senior Manager) for several years. She has both academic and industry experience. Her research interests are in Sustainability Reporting and Assurance, Corporate Social Responsibility accountability, Auditing and  Fraud. Her DBA thesis was on Sustainability and Environmental Reporting Assurance with a focus on materiality, qualifications of assurors and stakeholder inclusivity in an emerging economy - India.
