Biography
I am a Lecturer in Medical Sociology and Programme Director for the Master in Public Health (MPH) course. I previously worked at Durham University and at the University of York.

Research Projects/Collaborations
I have been Principal Investigator on three projects funded by Cancer Research UK and Co-Investigator on three further studies exploring smoking and cessation, including a study with people living with HIV in Uganda. My current work explores the role of the tobacco industry in illicit tobacco flows in Northern Europe and the place of competition and regulation in the vape industry.
