Jason Thompson is a Degree Apprenticeship Tutor who is responsible for supporting the professional development of apprentices enrolled on programmes delivered from the College of Business and Social Sciences (BSS). At Level 6, BSS currently delivers the Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship (CMDA), the Project Manager Degree Apprenticeship (PMDA), and the Digital Marketer Degree Apprenticeship (DMDA). At Level 7, BSS delivers the Senior Leader Apprenticeship. The principal purpose of the role is to support apprentices to develop and demonstrate their competency with respect to the relevant Apprenticeship Standard while ensuring that their progress is appropriately tracked and documented. This involves collaborating with employer partners to plan appropriate work-based development activities for apprentices, and supporting the integration of apprentices’ academic knowledge within their workplace activity.
