Biography

Laura Di Chiacchio recently completed her cotutelle PhD and is an emerging researcher in the growing field of human-centred cybersecurity. Drawing on her experience in technology ethics, organisational behaviour and awareness studies, she investigates the socio-technical complexities that influence secure digital transition and technology adoption.

Her work has been presented at international conferences and published in leading international journals. At Aston she teaches sustainability and the ethical use of digital tools, as well as cyber security and data privacy.

She was awarded the Ede and Ravenscroft Prize for Academic Excellence at Coventry University for her Masters research.
