General

Before joining Aston, Parveen was awarded a British Academy Research Fellowship for her work on politics and Islam. 
 
Parveen has published widely on political participation, Islam, migration and social change in journals including; the British Journal of Politics and International Relations, the Political Quarterly and European Political Science. In 2013, she published a book: 'Political Participation Amongst British Pakistani Diasporas in Multicultural Britain'.
