Biography
Raveen is a post-doctoral research fellow at Advanced Services Group, Aston Business School. He is currently working on the ESRC funded project that studies the impact of servitization on the UK economic productivity and environmental performance. Building on supply chain fit and service-dominant logic, Raveen’s Ph.D. dissertation – Strategic Fit of Service Supply Chains –develops and validates a strategic framework in service supply chains. Raveen is an empirical researcher well acquainted with qualitative and quantitative research. He has published in academic journals and presented his research at various international conferences. He is a full member of the editorial review board (ERB) of the Journal of Supply Chain Management (JSCM) and an ad-hoc reviewer for the Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management (JPSM). Prior to joining Aston, he was a research associate in the area of behavioral operations management specifically focussing on the methodology of eye-tracking in a newsvendor setting. He has assisted his professors with operations management, services, and supply chain management courses at IIT Bombay and Monash University, including management development programs. His teaching and research interests include operations management, service operations management, supply chain management, service supply chain management.
