Corporate Community Involvement (CCI) refers to businesses' involvement in societal initiatives to fulfil the needs of the communities in which they operate. It differs from donations and charitable activities as it grants stakeholders access to the company's infrastructure, human resources, and business operations. CCI involves dedicating substantial time and the company's resources to community projects. CCI sets itself apart from other forms of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). While the latter may be motivated by the necessity to address the negative impacts of a company's operations, CCIs are unique in their altruistic intent (Yekini et al., 2015). CCIs are distinguished by their active participation in societal affairs and the engagement of companies in civic responsibilities within their local community. Furthermore, the historical roots of CCI also set it apart from other CSR initiatives.
