    Abstract

    We demonstrate that optimization of longitudinal signal power profile by employing single-step mount improves the transmission performance when nonlinear fibre impairments are compensated in coherently-detected 112 Gb/s PM-m-QAM, with comparable optimization criterion across various formats.
