Research output: Other contribution

Abstract

Rex Gibson’s Shakespeare and Schools magazines inspired our new publication. In this article, Sarah Olive re-introduces this almost-forgotten series, traces its roots in Gibson’s larger project for promoting the use of active methods to teach Shakespeare, and in the wake of the many plaudits and some criticisms it received, asks what there is left to achieve for a new publication on Shakespeare in education?
