Research output: Chapter in Book/Published conference outputChapter

Abstract

In this chapter, Elinor Vettraino provides fascinating insights into how one’s development as teacher, in combination with a love of drama and coaching can transform EE. Vettraino’s adaptation of the Finnish Team Academy approach to separate teaching contexts in the British Midlands is truly fascinating. Drawing on her coaching skills to develop teaching colleagues and students through transformative methods, Vettraino is clearly claiming new territory in the domain of EE. The prerequisite of authentically showing up is at the center of what Vettraino deems good EE. This chapter highlights everything EE has to gain from welcoming new pedagogical approaches from other discipline areas.
