2020/21-024 - BIOPOLY – Single BIOmolecule detection via an ELISA sandwich assay through the realisation of novel optical POLYmer biosensors for a low cost rapid field deployable diagnostic instrument. The Research Strategy Committee Panel has scored the above highly and as a PRIORITY for the School of Engineering and Physical Sciences and so we encourage good/excellent HOME students to apply for an EPSRC DTP PhD studentship to undertake it. Fully funded for 3 years min (a stipend based on UKRI minima, currently £15,285 pa and Home fees, currently £4,407 pa).
