Kemal is a visiting lecturer in mechanical engineering and design at Aston University. His research is focused on biofuels and their applications on compression ignition (diesel) engines. Research involves the production and characterisation of novel biofuels and their blends, experimental measurements of the engine performance, combustion characteristics and exhaust gas emissions. In addition, application of various techniques such as engine modifications and fuel additives to optimise the utilisation of biofuel. Furthermore, CFD modelling and experimental analyses of modern exhaust aftertreatment technologies to lower exhaust emissions.
Prospective students interested to conduct research are advised to contact through email.
