Research Interests

My research interests are in the areas of Foreign Direct Investment, Trade and Economics Education.

Biography

I joined Aston Business School in September 2018 as a Teaching Fellow in Economics. After completing my degree in Economics at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU), I obtained my PhD in Economics from the University of Nottingham in June 2012. I am an applied economist with expertise in data analysis and working with large datasets. I undertake research in the areas of foreign direct investment (FDI), trade and economics education. Prior to Aston University, I held positions at Coventry University and Nottingham Trent University. I teach Microeconomics, Statistics and Econometrics to economists and non-specialists at the UG and PG level and have experience in course leadership. I promote the usage of technology for teaching and learning and I am an associate of the Economics Network.
