Biography

Jon is a Senior Teaching Fellow in the Economics, Finance and Entrepreneuship Department. He previously worked at Nottingham Trent University, Warwick Business School and Coventry University. He was awarded a National Teaching Fellowship by the Higher Education Academy in 2011 in recognition of his work in developing tecahing methods that promote a more active learning environment in the classroom.

Through his work as a Senior Associate of the Economics Network, Jon has run sessions on innovative pedagogic practices at a number of universities and major national events. He is also an academic assessor for the Government Economic Service. Jon is a regular contributer and editor of the Economic Review.

Research Interests

Jon's research interests include pedagogy in economics, the economics of sport and personalised pricing. He is the co-author of a number of leading textbooks in economics.
