Biography

I am a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in Economics at the Department of Economics, Finance and Entrepreneurship at Aston University and the lead for the Digital Economy and Innovation theme at the Centre for Business Prosperity. I have previously held research posts in the University of Birmingham, Plymouth University, LSE and University of Macedonia. I have non-academic work experience in the public and private sector.

Awards

  • Full-time competitive scholarship (PI, c. £50,000, 2013-2016) from Plymouth University to undertake PhD studies.
  • Full-time competitive scholarship (PI, c. €10,000, 2006) from the Greek State Scholarship Foundation for my MSc studies.
  • 2 x Performance scholarships from the Greek State Scholarship Foundation (PI, £1,200 – 2003; £1,200 – 2004). Awarded to the top 5 performing students for each of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th year of studies.
