Prof. Dr. Vignesh Yoganathan is Aston Business School’s Professor (Chair) of Marketing at Aston University, Birmingham. His current research revolves around the implementation and implications of robots and Artificial Intelligence in customer services, and the effective communication of corporate social responsibility to customers. Prof. Yoganathan primarily employs statistical modelling, machine learning, and experiments in his studies, and his work has been published in leading journals including the Journal of Service Research, Journal of Business Ethics, and Tourism Management.
Beyond his research, Prof. Yoganathan is an internationally experienced educator with specialisations in executive education and digital learning. He has led significant projects focusing on digital marketing and marketing strategy in public, private, and voluntary sector organisations, funded by sources including the UK government and the European Union. Prior to his current role at Aston University, he held several academic leadership positions, including Director of MBA and Director of Digital Learning at leading UK universities.
