I am interested in supervising PhD students in wireless communication and networks, AI and machine learning, and intelligent transport.
I joined the School of Engineering and Applied Science, Aston University as a lecturer in 2010. I am currently the Programme Director of MSc programmes of Electronic Engineering. I previously held the positions of Lecturer at University of Bedfordshire, Research Fellow at University of Strathclyde and Research Officer at Swansea University.
I obtained my BEng (First Class Honours) and MEng degrees in Electronic Engineering from Sichuan University and Huazhong University of Science and Technology, both in China. I obtained my PhD degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from University of Bath, UK.
